Don't know where this myth came from that egg yolk is not good for human body. It has large amount of cholesterol, which may not be good for heart. But as per latest research, it has no negative side effects and is absolutely safe for people to have and reap its great health benefits.

Here are some egg yolk benefits:

1 Loaded with minerals and vitamins: Ironically egg yolk has more vitamins than an egg white! Surprisingly yolk is one the few food items which is loaded with vitamin D.

But what we do is overlook everything, follow what others tell us about how egg yolk can raise our cholesterol and should not be consumed.

It is time for you to stop listening to such baseless theories and start having egg yolk.
