Abhijit Mukhopadhyay

Abhijit is a New Delhi based economist with more than 16 years of experience in economic and public policy, teaching and academic administration. In the past he has been engaged with the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy and Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, and a prominent business school in NCR. In the last few years, he has been working at senior levels in think tanks like Economic Research Foundation and Thought Arbitrage Research Institute. His main areas of interest include macroeconomics and public policy; his core research areas are monetary economics and the political economy of finance. He has a keen interest in micro and macro business environment, sectoral industry case studies, and issues related to public finance, agriculture and development economics.
