The word "Naatu" simply translates to "Dance" and the chorus is a call to dance together.
The chorus also translates to "dance like you've eaten a green chilli" and "dance like a sharp knife".
The line "Na pata soodu" comes just before the chorus and translates to "listen to my song".
The first verse asks the listener to dance like an aggressive bull, a temple dancer and young boys
The next verse continues to describe the dance using examples of drums and birds.
The closing verse asks people to dance with earth-trembling energy till dust rises into the air.
MM Keeravani composed the track while Chandrabose penned the lyrics of Naatu Naatu.
