Princess Diana wore the iconic black mini dress at a gala in 1994 after Prince Charles' confession of infidelity. Priced at £900 (Rs 95k), it sold in July 1997 for an astounding £39,098 (Rs 41 lakh), equivalent to Rs 90 lakh today.

Princess Diana's letter, where she talked about her marital troubles, sold for £8,750 (Rs 9 lakh) in Feb 2023 at Chiswick Auctions. The single-sheet letter, on a Kensington Palace letterhead, was dated May 11, 1995, and addressed to Mrs Cotton.

Diana's first car, also called her 'courting car,' which she drove as 19-year-old Diana Spencer, until selling it in June 1981. Prince Charles bought it for £3,495 (Rs 3 lakh) in 1980 and was sold for £6,000 (Rs 6 lakh).

Diana wore the stunning Swan Lake Suite necklace with 178 diamonds and five matching 12 mm South Sea pearls in June 1997, her final official engagement before her death. It sold for $632,000 (Rs 5 crore) in 2010.
