Henley produces a quarterly ranking of passports by assessing all countries worldwide.

Singapore has overtaken Japan after five years to become the most powerful passport in the world. Those who possess a Singaporean passport can visit 192 countries visa-free.

Germany, Italy, and Spain, which are all members of the European Union, hold the second position in the ranking access to enter 190 counties visa-free.

At number 3, we have seven countries: Austria, Finland, France, Japan, Luxembourg, South Korea and Sweden. Number of countries citizens can visit visa-free: 189

Denmark, Ireland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom are at number four. Their passport holders are given extensive travel privileges, enabling them to explore numerous destinations without visa complications.

At number five we have Belgium, the Czech Republic, Malta, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, and Switzerland; all countries with high-quality passports with visa-free access to 187 countries.

These three countries - Australia, Hungary and Poland ranked number six. Number of countries citizens can visit visa-free: 186.

Both Canada and Greece provide its passport holders visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 185 countries which made them rank number 7.

The United States passport has now tied with Lithuania for the eighth position with 184 counties to enter. However, compared to its position in 2022, the USA has actually dropped two places in the ranking.

Another three beautiful European countries, Latvia, Slovakia, and Slovenia, have secured positions within the top 10 rankings (entries to 183 countries visa-free).

Having an Iceland passport allows movement in any of the states of EFTA and the EEA while having an Estonian one will give you visa-free access to 182 countries.

India's passport is at Rank 80 now, rising 7 spots. Number of countries citizens can visit visa-free: 57

At the bottom of the list, we have three countries that offer visa-free travel to 30 or fewer destinations. These countries are Syria, with 30 destinations, Iraq with 29 destinations, and Afghanistan with 27 destinations.
