On September 24, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 9 new Vande Bharat Express trains through a video conference. Let's take a look at these new trains.
It's the third Vande Bharat train in Rajasthan, joining the Jodhpur-Sabarmati and Ajmer-Delhi Cantt services. This new Express will cut travel time by around 30 minutes on the Udaipur-Jaipur route.

This new launch will reduce travel time by over two hours and make stops at Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchirappalli, and Chennai after leaving Tirunelveli Junction.

This train will stop at important stations like Mahabubnagar, Kurnool, Anantapur, and Dharamvaram. It has one executive class coach and seven chair car coaches, with a total capacity of 530 passengers.

The second Vande Bharat Express in Chennai connects Vijayawada and Chennai via Renigunta, stopping at key stations in Andhra Pradesh like Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, and Renigunta, with improved access to the Tirupati Pilgrimage centre.

The new Vande Bharat train connects Patna Junction in Bihar to Howrah in West Bengal, traveling 532 km in approximately 6 hours and 35 minutes.

The second launch in Kerala, it will notably reduce travel time by about 3 hours and cover a distance of 573 kilometres in a total of 7 hours and 55 minutes.

The train from Puri, Odisha, departs at 5 am, reaching Rourkela by 12.45 pm, and returns from Rourkela at 2 pm, reaching Puri by 9 pm.

Running six days a week, except Tuesdays, this Express provides the fastest link between the capital cities of Jharkhand and West Bengal. It departs Ranchi at 5.15 am, arriving in Howrah at 12.20 pm.

Covering 331 km in 4 hours and 40 minutes with 5 stops, this Express departs Jamnagar at 5.30 am, reaching Ahmedabad via Rajkot, Wankaner, Surendranagar, Viramgam & Sabarmati by 10.10 am.
