The Skytrax World Airline Awards are decided through international customer voting, and they pick the 100 best ones. Two Indian airlines have managed to grab a spot.

Singapore Airlines grabbed the first spot this year, after being the second-best last year. Why? It has "been fuelled by its dedication to customer service", as per Skytrax.

Slipped from the first to second this year, Qatar Airways is known for its gourmet food, top-notch onboard entertainment, and excellent service.

Established in 1952 with merely two helicopters, ANA has grown to become Japan's largest airline. It currently operates an extensive network of 82 international routes and 118 domestic routes.

Dropping from the third position compared to the previous year, Emirates connects the world and Dubai. With 262 aircraft, it serves 152 destinations, carrying 43.6 million passengers in 2022.

Another one from Japan, Japan Airlines boasts a fleet of over 230 aircraft. It has four major hubs in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Okinawa.

Turkish Airlines, a Star Alliance member, was founded in 1933 with just 5 aircraft. It now flies to 300+ destinations with a fleet of 300+ aircraft, proudly representing Turkey worldwide.

At number 8, we have Cathay Pacific Group, based in Hong Kong. It operates scheduled passenger and cargo services to 200+ destinations across the world. Their fleet comprises 200 aircraft.

EVA Air operates from its hub at Taiwan's Taoyuan International Airport. EVA Air took a jump from 18th position (2022), it operates over 60 major business and tourist destinations.

This Indian airline is a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines. Vistara climbed from 20th to 16th in the rankings and was listed among the top 20 for cabin crew and top 10 in Asia by Skytrax.
