A UNESCO World Heritage Site - it is a prime example of Rajput architecture. The towers of this fort are lit up in the evening, and offer a delightful sight.

JUNAGARH, BIKANER

JAISALMER FORT

AKA Golden Fort - the walls of this fort are made of yellow sandstone. During sunset this fort looks like it's made of gold.

An elegant structure, Amber or Amer Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Key attractions within the fort are Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas, Ganesh Pol, etc.

AMER FORT, JAIPUR

The Amer Fort is located 11 km from the city of Jaipur, and houses a town within its walls. The fort is made of yellow and pink sandstone, and white marble.

A TOWN IN ITSELF

NAHARGARH, JAIPUR

This fort offers a panoramic view of Jaipur. Nahargarh has an Indo-European architectural style, with ethereal minakari work in the corridors.

JAIGARH, JAIPUR

This fort was built in 1726 by Raja Jai Singh II to fortify Amer Fort. It has the Jaivana cannon, the largest cannon in the world.

Rich history meets culture at Taragarh, one of the oldest forts in Rajasthan. Tourists can go bird-watching here. The fort offers a spectacular view of the city.

Famous for the second-longest wall in the world after the Great Wall of China, this magnificent structure is a popular tourist spot in Rajasthan.

LOHAGARH, BHARATPUR

AKA the Iron Fort, because the British were unable to conquer it when they colonised India. It has marvellous structures like Kishori Mahal and Mahal Khas.
