A video of Supermodel Kristen McMenamy tripping and falling in stilettos at Valentino's spring 2023 haute couture show in Paris has gone viral.
After her fall, the 58-year-old model is visibly frustrated. She takes off her heels before getting up and continuing her walk down the runway.
Fans criticised the Italian luxury fashion house, Valentino, for showcasing shoes that appeared too difficult to walk in.
People noted that this was not the first time Valentino had shoe problems on the runway. Models were also seen tripping in their runway show in Paris in Sep 2022.
Some on Twitter wondered if the whole incident was actually a PR stunt.
A Valentino spokesperson clarified that the talents were asked if they were comfortable in their shoes after the rehearsals, and were offered alternative options.
Kristen took to her instagram account to clear the air about her fall on the runway, saying 'I f**ked up', implying that the shoes were not to be blamed.
