The 2023 ICC ODI World Cup raises curtains tomorrow, with the first match in Ahmedabad. Let's have a look at the countries that have hosted the 'top tournament'.

Although Pakistan has not held any World Cup on its own but has co-hosted the tournament along with India in 1987 and with India and Sri Lanka in 1996.

Another country to not host a World Cup on its own is New Zealand. The Kiwis co-hosted it twice with Australia, once in 1992, and again in 2015.

The 2003 edition was the first and only World Cup played in Africa, along with Kenya and Zimbabwe co-hosting it.

The 1992 and 2015 World Cups were played in stadiums in New Zealand and Australia.

The 2011 World Cup was hosted by India, along with Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The 2023 edition of the tournament is solely being hosted by India.
