MATHURA

Mathura celebrates Holi in a grand manner. You can see Matki phod events and Ras-Leelas in Mathura during Holi.

VRINDAVAN

Vrindavan is known to celebrate 'Phoolon ki Holi'". You can witness the first rituals of the festival taking place in the Banke Bihari Temple.

BIHAR

Phaguwa is the local name of Holi in Bihar. Holika Dahan is performed a night before Holi. People dance to bhojpuri songs & eating Malpua, Dahi vada & more.

 Barsana is famous for its 'Lathmar Holi'. This is when women playfully beat men with sticks. Lathmar Holi takes place a week before the main festival.
