Delhi has several heritage havelis that have preserved their rich culture & history. Here's a list of havelis you must visit.

GOLDEN HAVELI DHARAMPURA

Located near Jama Masjid, Golden Haveli is built in sandstone and best showcases Islamic architectural style. It's a boutique hotel & has a restaurant.

It is a UNESCO Awarded Heritage Haveli. It is called Golden Haveli because of brass fittings on its doors and windows.

The pristine 300-year-old haveli in Chandni Chowk was home to the famous poet Mirza Asadullah Khan. This is a Mughal-era structure.

Mirza ghalib ki haveli

The Haveli has preserved Ghalib's two original manuscripts, his and his wife's clothes and the utensils used by them.

Located in Chandni Chowk, this haveli is where Jawaharlal Nehru got married to Kamala Kaul here. It is Kamala Nehru's ancestral haveli.

HAKSAR KI HAVELI

This quaint haveli lies in ruins close to Red Fort. The haveli belonged to Emperor Shah Jahan's  accountants & book-keepers and was used to keep money.

KHAZANCHI HAVELI

Since the Haveli is close to Red Fort, it was believed that it was connected to Red Fort via an underground tunnel.
