Indian designer Gaurav Gupta showcased his designs on the fourth day of the Paris Couture Week, on July 6. The collection was called 'Hiranyagarbha'.

According to the Vedas, Hiranyagarbha, derived from hiranya (golden) and garbha (womb), is the source from which all creation emerge. His collection conceptualises the process of life in varied colours.

Cardi B, who was dressed in a dramatic neon gown with a hooded cape by Gaurav Gupta, was also at the show. Gupta has previously dressed her in that viral blue gown for the Grammys.

Gaurav Gupta's collection showcased numerous couture pieces in a vibrant neon yellow hue, which meant "unstoppable brightness and resilience of life", akin to a chrysalis transforming.

Malachite-coloured dresses represented the "incredible power of life to sprout from anywhere", and it is a magical stone that connects and heals the entire universe as we journey together.

The models showcased silver and white gowns, some embellished with crystals and pearls. These dresses symbolise the imagined 'first light'.

Gaurav's collection also featured earthy brown hues in various silhouettes, gracefully incorporated into gowns.

The collection features flowing taffetas, chiffon with glass bugle beads, and crystals adorned with traditional Indian embroidery techniques like zardozi, nakshi, and dabka.
