With every new year comes a new set of Akshay Kumar films. 2023 will be no exception.

Despite a disastrous 2022, the next year is lined up with at least five new films starring Kumar.

First up is Selfiee, a remake of the Malayalam film Driving License. Emraan Hashmi is also part of it.

Shooting has also wrapped up on the sequel to OMG with Kumar playing Lord Shiva.

He's also currently filming the Hindi remake of the Tamil biopic Soorarai Pottru.

Capsule Gill is currently in the filming stage, yet another biopic for Kumar.

In Capsule Gill, he would play Jaswant Gill, an engineer who saved the lives of 65 miners.

He will also play Shivaji in his Marathi debut, Vedat Marathe Veer Daudale Saat.

The movie's first look was trolled for historical inaccuracies such as modern electric lightbulbs.

While all five of his films in 2022 failed to make a mark, let's see if Kumar can change his odds.
