The Agra Mahotsav 2023 kicked off today, and will go on till March 1. The 10-day cultural festival takes place in Shilpgram, near the Eastern Gate of the Taj Mahal.
The festival was inaugurated on Feb 20. There are various programmes lined up, and will take place in Shilpgram's Maktakashiya Manch as well as in Surasadan.
The carnival will see music and entertainment events every day, with performances by singers like Amit Mishra, Maithili Thakur, Harshdeep Kaur.
The event will host over 400 renowned artists from India. You can find carpets and shawls from Kashmir, to bamboo and cane goods from the Northeast.
Shilpgram (near Eastern Gate, Taj Mahal) is the main venue. Other venues: Sur Sadan Auditorium, Sadar Bazaar, I Love Agra points. Dates: February 20 to March 1
