It doesn't come as a surprise that the lowest temperature recorded around the world was in Antarctica and it was -89.2 C. The average annual temperature here ranges from -10 C to -60 C.

In Russia, the lowest temperature that has been recorded is -67.8 C. The Siberian region in Russia has sub-Arctic climate and the Northern Pole of Cold has low temperatures.

Canada experienced the cold temperature of -63.0 C. The northern part of the country is extremely cold. The central southern areas of the interior plains have continental climate.

Mongolia has recorded a temperature of -55.3 C. Mongolia has an extreme continental climate with long, cold winters and short summers.
