Breaking traffic rules is so much fun for Indians that we could not wait any longer for the #KekeChallenge (where #KeKe is aka #Kiki) to hit the Indian streets.
Keke has now more or less become Kiki and we bet she is enjoying the roller-coaster ride in India — one that is threatening the police by throwing traffic out of gear.
The challenge is exciting; more exciting than pouring ice-cold water on oneself at least. Also more boisterous than surprising an innocent pet with a blanket in the 'What the fluff' challenge.
Here, one has to get down from a slow-moving car, and shake a leg along with the peppy beats of Drake’s “In my Feeling”, and then get inside the car, without causing any damage to anyone. All this while, the car will be moving.
Sounds fun, right?
Canadian rapper Drake, of course, had no idea that his love for Kiki, KB, Resha (KB and Resha are unfortunate enough not to gain such popularity like Kiki) will resound in the world soon after its release.
And the credit goes to comedian Shiggy, who made a video of his dancing with the song. No, there was no car involved. It was just a busy street, as two cars can be seen in his original video posted on Instagram on July 1.

It can’t happen that such a millennial thing wouldn't catch the fancy of the Internet.
Soon, Will Smith made a fascinating video of #DoTheShiggy challenge on the chain bridge of Budapest, capturing the beauty of the place, and social media just got drugged.

Now, there is another factor.
More than flawless, everything-in-place videos, we love bloopers. So, the Kiki challenge is okay, but Kiki challenge fails are the real thing on the Internet right now.
We don't know how real these failures are, but they are funny enough to make us forget our real-life failures and giggle seeing people hitting lamp posts or falling over while trying to get down from moving cars. Also, in many videos, Bhojpuri songs are being played "by mistake"; mistakes which we can, and do, laugh at.
In the wake of the challenge, Mumbai Police has got an opportunity to show how funny they are.
Not just a risk for you but your act can put life of others at risk too. Desist from public nuisance or face the music ! #DanceYourWayToSafety #InMySafetyFeelingsChallenge pic.twitter.com/gY2txdcxWZ

Whenever Mumbai Police tweets something like this, it becomes a different challenge for other state police. And here, we got a series of follow-on warnings.
Dear Parents, whether Kiki loves your child or not, we are sure you do! So please stand by your kids in all the challenges in life except #kikichallenge . #KiKiHardlyAChallenge #InMyFeelingsChallenge #UPPolice pic.twitter.com/RyTvoChJFa

But Santa Paula Police took it a level higher. They took the challenge and made a video of police personnel doing the Kiki Challenge.
When in India, do like how we do
The tune is catchy. The steps are easy. The challenge videos, so far, impressed on us the fact that it is a spontaneous thing; worth a try. But in India, we won't let go of a fad without leaving a major imprint of us. So, why not shoot this from an auto rickshaw? After all, an auto rickshaw represents us the best.

Big names in Bollywood have not yet taken up the challenge, but those who have taken it up have managed to spoil the spontaneity of the challenge by heavy costumes and make-up that look anything but spontaneous.

Nothing beats the enthisiasm of a Delhi guy who is now planning a 'Kiki event' at Connaught Place where people will assemble and shout 'Kiki, do you love me?'
We just hope Kiki is safe.
