Have you started biting big into the watermelons brought home? Let us tell you how you can lick them all up without much ado. The return of corona cases in big numbers has anyway pushed many back into the kitchen to once again say cooking is therapeutic (even if with a sigh time).
Whatever the reason to be there, make the most of your time in there. Got a watermelon? Let’s tell you the easy way to turn it into an ice cream.
What you will need
A watermelon
Milk cream
Condensed milk
Corn flour
Vanilla essence
Sugar
How to go about it
Cut a watermelon into small pieces
Scrape off the seeds
Put the small pieces into a juicer
Once the juice is ready strain it
Put three cups of the juice in a pan and heat it
Add a tablespoon of sugar to it
Let the mix come to a boil
Take three tablespoons of corn flour in a small bowl, add some water melon juice to it and mix
Add the corn flour mix to the boiling juice
Add vanilla essence
Mix and switch off the gas
Let it cool down
Once it has cooled down, transfer it to a freezing container
Freeze it for two hours
After two hours, transfer the container’s content into a jar
Add ¼ cream to it
Switch on the mixer
Once the content has been properly mixed, transfer it to the freezing container again
Freeze again for two-three hours
Take it out and dig into the ice cream
If patience allows, garnish it to your liking
