It seems being a poster child for women's education the world over and taking a bullet in the head, inspiring hundreds of millions of girls across the world to insist on schools in their localities, and innumerable other wonders that stem from Malala Yousafzai have not qualified her to be deserving enough for the Nobel Peace Prize that she received (along with India's Kailash Satyarthi).

Malala Yousafzai and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. |
That is according to Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the Art of Living honcho, who has not only claimed he has "turned down" a Nobel Prize offer (seriously, and for what did he ever was given the tiniest bit of consideration, may we ask?), but has in fact declared that Malala got the Nobel for nothing!
This disgusting display of neighbour envy and broadcasting of his acute jealousy for a mere teenager is an ample demonstration of what a plain speaker Sri Sri is.

“I was in the past offered the Nobel Peace Prize, but I had rejected it as I only believe in working and not in being honoured for my work. We should always honour only to those who deserve it and I am totally against honouring Malala Yousafzai with the prize and it is of no use,” he said.
Naturally, he deserved some Nobel trolling, which he got in plenty on Twitter.
With his jealousy for 18 yr old Malala, 59 yr old Sri Sri has once again proved: No amount of 'Art of Living' can make you a better person.

Hey Sri Sri, Malala is not just the name of an individual, her name symbolizes the movement for girls' education in Pak(Taliban ideology).

By saying that Malala got the Nobel for politics, Sri Sri has done some (flood)plain speaking
— Madhavan Narayanan (@madversity) May 3, 2016
Dear Sri Sri, if Malala has done nothing to get the nobel prize then please you once try to take a bullet in your head.

Sri Sri has problems with Malala because unlike every member of the Art of Living, she has a mind of her own and hasn't donated to his cult.

Malala was given a Nobel Peace Prize after taking a bullet to her head. Sri Sri doesn't think this was enough though.

Sri Sri believes that Malala didn't deserve the Nobel, as she can't convince Nawaz and Imran Khan to pollute Jhelum for her propaganda event

Sri Sri has mean thoughts and critises a poor little girl who fought with Talibani @Malala can never b considered https://t.co/HYESoxRNRq

If #SriSriRaviShankar comment on #MalalaYousafzai has not been an eye opener on our dollar minting saints, nothing else will. What a shame

When a 59 yr old man is jealous of an 18 yr old girl, you call that 'Art of being a loser'. ????#SriSri #Malala pic.twitter.com/OIy0nZsUI5

Sri Sri surely knows how to create toxic brouhaha around himself after another.
Not only has he left a trail of often poisonous, non-biodegradable trash on the Yamuna floodplains on which his hurrumphed his way to hold that three-day monstrosity called World Culture Festival, which saw Prime Minister Modi delivering a rousing speech on Indian (Hindu) culture, Sri Sri has also refused to pay the Rs 5crore fine that the National Green Tribunal imposed on his Art of Living as the penalty for pollution.
In addition, Sri Sri has also recently made a fool of himself by trying to "solve" the ISIS crisis all by himself, with his misguided overture getting iin return, characteristically enough, the photo of a severed head. Taking potshots at Malala shows exactly how deserving Sri Sri really is.
