Parag Agrawal once wrote 'Nice DP' to Shreya Ghoshal. Desi Twitter has all answers for you

Parag Agrawal has been appointed as the new CEO of Twitter. Parag is a computer science engineer from IIT Bombay. People all across the world are congratulating Parag for his big achievement. One such congratulation message grabbed Desi Twitter’s attention. Indian playback singer Shreya Ghoshal took to Twitter to congratulate the new Twitter CEO. She wrote, “Congrats @paraga So proud of you!! Big day for us, celebrating this news.”

But even before Shreya got to congratulate Parag, someone found an old Tweet by Parag in which he complimented Shreya and said, “Nice DP.” Well, nice DP is a creepy remark if you don't know the sender. And Desi Twitter too thought along those same lines.

Then Twitter users moved to another tweet from Parag to Shreya, where he reminds her of 'long drives'.

SO... WHAT IS THE STORY?

After some deep digging, Twitterati reached a tweet from Shreya where she makes it quite clear: she and Parag are childhood friends. They were classmates and studied at Atomic Energy Central School No.4 in Rawatbhata, Rajasthan, together. Back in 2010, 2012, etc, the two shared a few friendly conversations on Twitter. You know, back when Twitter was more like Orkut and Orkut was where the *friendly* conversations happened... (scraps, anyone?)

For those who believe Shreya ignored Parag: The singer had indeed replied to the 'nice DP' comment. So, it is not a Mera Intkam Dekhegi situation for sure.
