Travelling via Delhi Metro is not just about sitting in your seat and travelling, especially if you are a daily commuter. 10 TYPES OF PEOPLE YOU’LL SEE ON DELHI METRO
1. Always on phone
There are two types of phone users that you will spot on Delhi Metro:

2. The dressers
Half of the population on the earth is running late for something or the other. But Delhi Metro saves the day here.
You will always find one woman either combing her hair or applying lipstick inside a train.
Once make-up is done, a quick breakfast follows.

3. Shift ho jaiye
The Metro seats are meant for a certain number of people. But someone will assume that they will make everyone adjust and fit into the small space available.
Well, it just creates a lot of trouble for the fellow passengers, and everyone around them is just having an uncomfortable time. Especially so during Covid times.

4. The couples
You will always find around 2-3 couples in every coach of a the Metro.
They are probably busy with the following things:

Well, there are some normal couples too, who are just sitting and talking.
5. Political uncle
If you listen carefully, you will hear to a man’s voice explaining not just the country’s but the world’s politics. Why Putin is wrong, what PM Modi could've done better, why Kejriwal won Punjab and why Rahul Gandhi is nowhere. And goes without saying, they think they are always right.
They often group up inside a metro. And then the whole group will continues to discuss these inconclusive political issues.

6. Group of loud kids
You will see large, small and medium-sized college kids' groups inside the Delhi Metro. They are so loud that the rest of the people inside the coach usually stare at them, annoyed.
They talk about the professor they hate or make fun of each other.
You will see schools kids too on the Metro. Most of them are early teenagers travelling with their first crush or may be siblings.

7. Readers
The bookworms inside the metro are just like those phone users who do not care about anything happening around them. They are just reading, oblivious to the world around them. Honestly, that’s an excellent way to utilise the time.
Students are usually reading some general knowledge books or solving a maths problem.

8. Bands and pranksters
Everyone absolutely hates pranksters who target random people. After Connaught Place, Delhi metro is second on the list where you are most likely to get pranked by some random YouTuber. But some of them are too hilarious that it can make your day.

You will also find singers or a whole band singing on the Metro with a group of passangers clapping.
Plus, thanks to Instagram, you'll find someone filming a reel too.

9. Workaholics
Some of the passangers are workaholics by default, but others (most of them) are on a strict deadline.
You will see them with their laptops, too busy with their work. And their bags swing all across the coach. They are hardly bothered.

10. Rule breakers
Rule breakers are a constant at every public place. On the Metro, you will see them eating, drinking, throwing garbage, spilling food or water, sitting on the floor and not wearing a mask. They don't care about the announcement which is plays a thousand times, "Train-o aur station-o ko swachh raakhe."

But Delhi Metro officials also deal with them cleverly. They just appear out of nowhere and charge a fine.
