Bigg Boss 11 blog: When Vikas Gupta explained piggybacking to Priyank Sharma
Only Vikas deserves to win, says Arshi Khan after eviction.
With Christmas Eve coinciding with Weekend ka Vaar, the Bigg Boss house on Sunday was filled with festive cheer, as host Salman Khan engaged the housemates in various fun activities. Singer Mika Singh too was present inside the house to add jingles to the bells.
However, fun in the Bigg Boss house can’t be without side effects, as the show is reaching its finale and Vikas Gupta is already in the semi-final. So, there were heated moments between Hina and Priyank and Luv and Priyank, and some intrigue was exposed.
Vikas is the winner, says who
After she had to leave the house, Arshi Khan has said that Vikas Gupta will win the show. In a post-eviction video, which is doing the rounds on Twitter, she is seen saying, “Vikas is playing very well. He was my best friend also inside the house. He deserves to win the game.”

What is piggybacking
Another video posted by the official Twitter handle of Bigg Boss 11 has led to many debates on social media about Vikas’s strategy.

The events in the video purportedly took place before Arshi Khan’s eviction on Saturday. In the clip, Vikas and Priyank are basking in the lawn area, and Vikas tries to explain something to Priyank. But apparently to keep the message cryptic in front of the cameras, he calls Priyank over to him and writes Luv’s name on his back, while holding forth on the concept of piggybacking.
“When somebody is new in the industry, he or she tries to hang out with the famous people of the industry. Gradually, the new-comer starts making a fan base which is mostly borrowed from the celebrities he or she hangs out with. That’s what happening here. I have been observing this for quite some time now,” Vikas says, without taking names.
In all probability, Vikas was talking about Luv’s borrowed fan base from Hina, which has kept him afloat on the show, saving him every time he is nominated. Luv has been nominated several times and gets saved allegedly because of his friendship with Hina, who has a strong fan base.
Is Priyank Vikas’s last stooge?
With Arshi Khan’s eviction, team Vikas now consists of Vikas Gupta and Priyank Sharma. The back-to-back eviction of Hiten Tejwani and Arshi Khan—two of Vikas’s trusted aides—has triggered speculation whether Priyank is his last stooge in the game.
