Twitter, now rebranded as X, has introduced a new feature that enables Twitter Blue subscribers to download videos from the platform on their iOS devices.
This update is mentioned in the recently updated 'Help Center' article titled "How to share and watch videos on Twitter."

This feature is for verified users can now download or remix a video to create their own content.

However, a drawback of these new features is that users need to individually disable video downloads for each tweet, as there is no universal option to apply this restriction to all tweets containing videos.

A Twitter Blue user will have to follow these steps to download videos that are uploaded on X:
Tap the “…” on upper right when video is in full screen mode.

We will soon allow this simply by tapping & holding on a video just like you download a picture.
