OnePlus 3T is the best smartphone you can buy
“Which is the best phone to buy?” This question always stumps gadget reviewers and tech experts because there is no best phone! There is only the best possible phone.
For example: The iPhone 7 and the Google Pixel are two fantastic phones. You can say that they are the best phones. But that doesn’t work for most people who will ask: “Which is the best phone to buy?”
After all, these are very expensive phones. They cost over Rs 55,000. This is the reason why the OnePlus 3T, which will be on sale in India from December 14, is a phenomenal phone — it takes care of that vexing question.
The OnePlus 3T is a minor update to the OnePlus 3 phone that has won some rave reviews from both users and reviewers. It has the same understated, yet unique enough design with aluminium body. It’s slim and easy to hold. It’s built in a classy manner, without any noticeable imperfections.
On paper, this is a changed phone. Compared to what is there inside the OnePlus 3, the new OnePlus 3T has a slightly faster processor, a front camera that clicks bigger images (16-megapixel) and a bigger battery (3400 mAh).
But while using it, you won’t notice any significant change, except the battery which now lasts around 15 to 17 hours — about three to four hours more than the OnePlus 3.
In the case of OnePlus 3T, however, no change is good news.
The OnePlus 3 was a fast phone, and so is the OnePlus 3T, with its Snapdragon 821 processor, 6GB RAM and the 64GB internal storage. Its screen is same vibrant and bright 5.5-inch display that was in the earlier phone, and its 16-megapixel rear camera is capable of clicking some astonishing photos.
It is right up there in the league of the iPhone 7 and Galaxy S7, if not better. Even the software is the same.
It is tastefully designed, clean and mostly uses the same elements that Google puts in the Android. The factor that gives it an invincibility is its price.
Despite matching or surpassing phones like the Galaxy S7, Google Pixel and the iPhone 7, the OnePlus 3T costs Rs 29,999, half of what other big companies charge for high-end phones.
And that settles the question.
With this competitive price, the OnePlus 3T is the best phone to buy for majority of consumers.
