First, it was April 1 (guess, we were all fooled!), and now it is April 20, the day legacy blue ticks on Twitter will be removed. Twitter users will now have to pay the company $8 and/or $11 per month to get the once-coveted blue verified checks.
For organisations, the fee starts at $1,000 per month and they have to pay an additional fee to have their associates verified and linked to the organisation.
Final date for removing legacy Blue checks is 4/20
