Say what one may about Apple devices, you always get to experience the best first, if you own one.
The iPhone 7 and 7 plus have stellar cameras and it only makes sense for them to be utilised to the fullest. Instagram is planning to do just that. For iPhone users, photo sharing through the Facebook-owned application will now become a more vibrant and visually stimulating experience.

On Friday, December 6, Instagram co-founder and current CTO, Mike Krieger announced that the new features in the app have been almost rolled out that users don’t require an app update to use them. In September 2016, Instagram head of design Ian Spalter had first announced their plans to include Apples camera features in the app, to enhance photo-sharing and user experience, at the time the device was unveiled. The proposed features, then, included including wider colours, one-finger zoom, etc.

The new Instagram features for iPhone users are pretty impressive.
One can now post GIFs to Instagram Stories without using the Boomerang application. Apple Live Photos can be converted into Boomerangs. The iPhone 7 Plus telephoto zoom lens can be used by dragging a single finger up and down in Instagram (very much like Snapchat). Additionally, Instagram’s iPhone 7 colour filter can bring out the extra hues it now captures.
No matter how good a camera other Android devices may have, for Instagram they come second, as of now.
