The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted the Civil Services Prelims 2022 exams yesterday. Every year, certain questions in the paper leave candidates stunned and create quite a buzz over the internet. And this year, a question on mushrooms went viral.
Padhle, IAS mein aaega
You might have come across several memes around IAS questions. Usually, the least important stuff over the internet is sarcastically referred to as a UPSC-level important question.
Well, jokes sometimes turn true and manifest themselves as a question in the UPSC examination. (Surprise)

WHAT WAS THE QUESTION?
There was a question on Gucchi mushrooms in the paper. To everyone’s surprise, Indian television actress Rubina Dilaik posted a detailed caption about these rare mushrooms in one of her posts in June 2020.
One year from then, it is one of the questions in the UPSC examination.
The internet quickly related it to viral memes.
Many have also highlighted the importance of staying active on Instagram.
Another thing that is going viral from the question paper is the elimination technique, which made the paper tougher.
