With the ongoing festive sales such as the Flipkart Big Billion Days and Amazon Great Indian Festival, you'd expect people to go on a crazy shopping spree and try making the most of the discounts and deals, and being all happy and ecstatic about the products they buy.
But, this isn't the case as customers have shared their ordeals regarding ordering products online, receiving defective items, and the feeling of being scammed by the e-commerce platforms all on X (Twitter).
E-commerce platforms including Flipkart and Amazon promised to offer great discounts and attractive offers on wide range of products, from clothing and mobile phones to electronic appliances, beauty products and more.
The sales started October 8 onwards and said to last for a week.
Here are the tweets where customers have voiced their complaints and their dissatisfaction with Flipkart's Big Billion Days:

While the total cart value is ₹9076 (above 5000), the 10% discount on ICICI card is applicable on both items, why the discount is ₹781 instead of ₹907. #BigBillionDays Scam pic.twitter.com/SReGeo70qA
While, some people have shown anger towards paying a mandatory 'Offer Handling Fee'.
Imagine the amount of money @Flipkart is making during the Big Billion Days sale by charging all customers Rs. 49 as mandatory "offer handling fee". Nothing of this sort is being done by Amazon. Totally shameless. I too am a victim! https://t.co/ZRJt8LrlKa

However, there are customers who have posted a positive feedback about the Big Billion Days.

During the #AmazonGreatIndianFestival
I ordered an iPhone-13 on 7th,and after waiting so much now it shows me 'the item is returned to the seller' and the reason it's showing is I REJECTED THE ORDER which is absolutely FALSE. Situation 👇 pic.twitter.com/LVFQyALVdZ
Another X user was upset about the fact the the remaining quantity of the product on sale was not mentioned.
Amazon's Great Indian Sale is a big #SCAM!
— Misha chawda (@MishaChawda) October 6, 2023
What is the benefit of being a prime member if this happens?
Are there not enough products ? (please mention the no. of products on sale) and if only metro cities are benefiting by this, then mention that too! #AmazonGreatIndianFestival pic.twitter.com/u8vxkyCmKX
Another customer complained the about the e-commerce website not working properly.

1. Cart not loading
2. If it gets loaded - there is no option to use my Amazon Pay balance.
3. Always gives "503 - Service Unavailable" - when trying to make payment#AmazonGreatIndianFestival Looks like a total fraud scheme. pic.twitter.com/Tz3By1Taz2
