The 'forever-anticipated' cage fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg seems never-ending on the two tech giants' respective social media apps. The world is tired of asking when it will actually happen if at all it will.
In the latest, Elon Musk has tweeted off a few more jabs at Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg after he accused the Tesla boss of not being serious about the match. In response, Zuckerberg posted several replies on his X/Twitter replica, Threads app. And it is safe to say nobody is winning the cage fight of words.

- So, Musk has been nice to give the rest of us a "recap" from his perspective on the probability of the cage fight happening.
- Elon Musk is now claiming that Mark Zuckerberg has been avoiding the cage fight by making excuses, and not the other way around.
- Earlier, Zuckerberg hinted at withdrawing from the match saying Musk wasn't serious about it and told the Tesla boss in a Threads post that he can approach him when he's actually ready.
- Since August 14, Elon Musk has been saying that he's driving his Tesla to Mark's residence in Palo Alto to start the cage fight right there in the Meta CEO's backyard where he's installed an Octagon.

- But according to Musk, Mark Zuckerberg is making excuses by saying he's "travelling".

- On the other hand, Mark Zuckerberg has been replying to memes taking a shot at Musk on the Threads app using emojis.

- Whether Musk vs Zuck cage fight happens in real or not, it has got people talking. Among them is Elon Musk's estranged father Errol Musk.
- Errol Musk told The US Sun that it was all a publicity stunt, a "silly", "banal" and "high school"-style publicity stunt.
- Apart from all the noise surrounding the cage fight, X/Twitter has come under scrutiny by users for another concerning reason.
- Reportedly, links to rival social media platforms Threads app, Bluesky, and Musk's least favourite news outlets New York Time, Reuters, had all slowed down when users tried to open the links.
- Reports said that X/Twitter had deliberately slowed down the functioning of links by websites that Elon Musk did not like.
- However, now the speed has returned to normal, with some reports stating was a retreat by Elon Musk's teams following the backlash. Remember when Musk said he was a "free speech absolutist"?
On the other hand, Elon Musk's biography is in the work and several new tidbits of information about the world's richest man have been leaking to the masses.
Apparently, once Elon Musk put his Tesla car in Autopilot mode, pulled his hands off the steering wheel, and closed his eyes to impress his ex-girlfriend Grimes when they had started dating.
Peacocking aside, hopefully, Musk isn't driving blind to Mark Zuckerberg's house.
