Mansaf, the heavy-hitter of meals, packs a punch with its high-fat goodness, sending folks straight to snoozeville!

But the clever minds at Muab restaurant in Amman have got you covered with a genius solution—comfy beds to snuggle into right after you've savored every last bite of Mansaf.

They have installed beds in the restaurant so that customers can sleep after enjoying the dish. "The idea to put beds in the restaurant started as a joke and decoration to reflect the sleepiness that Mansaf-eaters experience after they have the high-fat meal," Musab Mubeideen, son of the restaurant's owner, told Arab News.

The room is air-conditioned too, with a comfortable mattress.

The concept of providing beds to customers for a post-meal nap started as a lighthearted remark from a customer who playfully wondered why they couldn't have a bed after enjoying the dish.

"So we brought beds and set them up in a separate section of the restaurant. Customers now really use them for a quick nap after they have Mansaf," Musab said.

Mansaf, meaning a large platter, is a traditional Levantine dish made of lamb cooked in a sauce of fermented dried yogurt and served with rice or bulgur.

The Jordanian version of Mansaf uses bread on the bottom of the plate. These ingredients are heavy and make for a hearty meal.
