On the occasion of the USA's National Coming Out Day, British-American writer and journalist Aatish Taseer used social media to celebrate his relationship with husband Ryan Davis. Taseer was earlier in a relationship with a member of the British Royal family.

The USA recognises October 11 as National Coming Out Day.
On this occasion, many Americans, including well-known celebrities, take the opportunity to openly discuss their personal experiences in same-sex relationships or 'come out' and reveal their sexual orientation to the public.
British-American writer and journalist Aatish Taseer also posted a picture on X on the occasion, celebrating his relationship with spouse Ryan Davis.

Happy #NationalComingOutDay! I spent years afraid to come out, balancing different societies in my head. I wish I hadn’t. As Henry James writes, “Live all you can; it's a mistake not to. It doesn't so much matter what you do in particular so long as you have your life.” pic.twitter.com/2BwCyMDSQt
Taseer used a quote by American writer Henry James to describe his relationship with Davis.
Taseer was earlier linked romantically with Lady Gabriella Windsor of the British Royal family; and this post, with Taseer talking about spending years 'afraid to come out' serves as a reminiscent nod to his past relationship.
Taseer and the British Royals
Aatish Taseer, 38, dated Lady Gabriella Windsor, 37, for three years during the 2000s.
The journalist spent time with her parents, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, and the couple invited him into their five-bedroom Kensington Palace apartment.
Prince Michael of Kent is the first cousin of Britain's late Queen, Elizabeth II.
Taseer had described Kensington Palace as 'wildly depressing'.
