Finally using 'How's the Jaish? Dead sir!' in the right context!

Let's admit it. It feels great.

The josh has never been higher.

Never before did India wake up to such a warm, sunny day — and yes, we are loving it.

Just twelve days since the Pulwama terror attack broke our hearts to pieces, killing 40 CRPF jawans mercilessly in what is deemed one of the most gruesome and shameless terrorist attacks, India has struck back.

Sources have confirmed that around ten Mirage 2000 aircraft dropped 1,000 kg bombs on the terror camps, destroying three Jaish-e-Mohammed control rooms — mainly in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), but also apparently one in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa area, which is beyond PoK.

And, as always, Twitter was the first to throw trending topics at you just as you may have sat down with your morning tea.

Of course, #IndianAirForce, #Surgicalstrike2, #IndiaStrikesBack and #JaiHind claim most of your timeline, but crouching right behind was an old hashtag we had a particular issue with — #HowsTheJaish?

Only this time, it came with an answer, in the form of another hashtag: #Deadsir!

At the onset, let's make one thing clear — 'How's the Jaish' was not funny, or even sarcastic back when our heads were still spinning from the bloodied pictures of Pulwama terror attack. And it is not funny now. But, at the risk of sounding politically incorrect, here's admitting that it feels just right to see that ridiculous hashtag resurface on Twitter — this time, for all the right reasons.

Now, with three control rooms of the JeM destroyed, can nabbing Masood Azhar be far behind?

Although Pakistan has denied his involvement in the Pulwama attacks, reports doing the rounds claim that Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligences have moved Azhar from Rawalpindi to Kotghani near Bahawalpur, tightened security and are keeping him off the radar.

Will India penetrate deeper into the terror state of Pakistan to get Masood Azhar? With the josh we're experiencing around us, the idea doesn't seem that farfetched.

After all, India — its army, its leadership and its people — have spoken. We will not allow Pakistan to terrorise us, we will not restrict ourselves to comfy rooms, only sitting about discussing strategic moves. We will actually tear in and tear apart!

"How's the Josh?"

"High, sir!"

"How's the Jaish?"

"Dead, sir!"
