I am sure there is a sense of victory and pride in you at the moment, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, having hosted one of the biggest cultural events in the world over the last few days, and graced by some of the most powerful people of our times.
So what if the topmost environment court of the country indicted you for damages to the Yamuna floodplains while allowing you to organise the event? You showed your might and rightly so and refused to pay the fine. Ah, the chief minister of Delhi has offered to outsource the Yamuna Action Plan to you. I am sure you would be elated.
Before you leave for your next spiritual world tour and fill your Nobel Prize application form, can you please request your volunteers to clear the mess left behind by this mega festival? It's not the job of the farmers and ragpickers to do it, who are currently doing it.
Please Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
