1. How can Sheena Bora be Indrani Mukerjea’s daughter? If she was Indrani Mukerjea’s daughter, Sheena was supposedly 24 when she disappeared in December 2011. Indrani, who was 30 when she married Peter Mukerjea in 2002, would have been 39. So she had a child at the age of 15? While that’s physically possible, these are not easily hidden in small town India, where rumour is, she eloped at 19.
2. How did everyone believe Sheena Bora was in the US? Indrani reportedly told everyone she had gone to the US. Not one person who knew her in her Indian life saw her off, gave her a farewell, or kept in touch? According to her batchmates, Sheena Bora’s Facebook page was reportedly deactivated in December 2011. How then did Peter Mukerjea claim to see images of Sheena in the US on Indrani’s page? Why does no one have her contact number when any US visa would require a destination: Either a valid university admission or an address if staying with relatives/friends, especially for a single woman travelling to the US alone? The Mumbai police claim Sheena Bora was killed by Indrani, the ex husband and the driver. How do they know the body was hers if they disposed off it two years ago without keeping any DNA reports or evidence? What DNA evidence have they tested it against? Which forensics lab was used and how has it produced evidence within 24 hours?
3. Who reported Sheena Bora missing? Some news agencies have reported a Missing Person’s report filed in 2012. It was at first unconnected to the decomposed body of the woman found in Raigarh. If Indrani was telling her family that Sheena was in the US at the time, who filed the Missing Person’s Report?
4. Who resigned on behalf of Sheena Bora? Sheena Bora allegedly resigned from her organisation, the Reliance ADAG Metro Rail, where she worked as an HR professional. If she was murdered, she clearly had no time for prior notice, in which case who resigned on her behalf?
5. How many husbands can you hide previous kids from? Neither did Sanjeev Khanna not know about Sheena and Mikhail nor did Peter Mukerjea, supposedly. Why were the grandparents, or the children, when Mikhail seems outspoken enough, mum? How did Indrani’s parents explain two newborn children as their own, when their child, Indrani was already a teenager, either 15, or 19? How was every single person in this equation tied into a conspiracy of silence that they never agreed to?
6. Why did the case come to light now, after three years? Peter Mukerjea began to trickle back into town post his first sighting for Sam Balsara’s daughter’s wedding in January 2015, the first time in three years anyone saw him on the social circuit. Why has this come up now, shortly before Peter is set to launch a host of new channels? Who is the secret informant who withheld the information until now?
7. Why isn’t Mikhail being questioned? Mikhail, Indrani’s once brother now son, has claimed he knows motives that he will spill if Indrani doesn’t tell the truth. Why aren’t the police asking him for his version of the truth?
