Worrying how extremists are taking law into their own hands

What is it about Mondays and the Shiv Sena? Last Monday, they targeted a book release function; yesterday, it was the BCCI office. The difference is that they had plenty of good company this time: a group calling itself Hindu Sena targeted a J&K MLA for holding a beef party and in Bengaluru, an Aussie couple was harassed over a tattoo.

Last night we got some more depressing news: Wasim Akram and Shoaib Akhtar will leave India and have to give up their commentary duties. It seems every Pakistani is now persona non grata in Mumbai: six months ago, the same Akram was bowling coach of the Kolkata Knight Riders when they played in Mumbai.

What's changed? Has the political temperature suddenly changed or the air simply become more toxic? Or is there no fear of the law? You tell me friends. Here is my video blog:
