Mohan Bhagwat wants to do a Modi in UK, RSS party with DiCaprio and Branson

After setting their conquest to saffronise Bharat in motion, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat is all set to make an international debut and take the sangh global.

I can exclusively tell you that Bhagwat and RSS all-India joint secretary Dattatreya Hosabale will be in the United Kingdom on July 31 to celebrate the golden jubilee of the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh.

Brace yourself, Bhagwat has a power packed itinerary in this vilayat trip of his. He plans to hold an interfaith dialogue with the archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. Yes, the RSS supremo will speak on behalf of all Hindus.

Bhagwat will also pay a visit to Ambedkar House, perhaps to undo some of the damage inflicted by RSS ideologue, Ram Bahadur Rai, who said "that Ambedkar has nothing to do with the Constitution".

Having set their national agenda on course, the RSS now wishes to lay the groundwork of this international outreach project. Around 10,000 faithful Hindu NRIs are set to be gathered in order to recreate the magic of Modi's Madison Square Garden event in New York in September 2014, on his maiden visit to US after being made prime minister. The event will culminate with Bhagwat's address.

The event is being planned for July 29-31. It will be jointly organised with the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi organisation and Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Bhagwat will be the chief guest on July 31.

To complete the make-over of khaki knickers to rock stars, a gallery of celebrities are set to grace the event and usher in the new uber power and remote control of India. The stars include Sir Richard Branson, adding a virgin touch perhaps with an eye to growing his global empire, English broadcaster and naturalist Sir David Attenborough, and Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio who will reinforcing the virtues of a beef ban.

I have been told that DiCaprio and Branson's messages have already been received and are on song.

DiCaprio is vegan and is expected to provide a touch of stardust to Bhagwat's anti-beef message. (Perhaps the only thing the two men share in common.) Branson is also vegan and has announced plans to launch a vegan airline. This "cowspiracy" is what the RSS adores about both men and is likely to open doors for Virgin in India.

Apart from star power, RSS chief has also lined meetings in Oxford and Cambridge, where he will be welcomed as a don among the dons.

Most Indian billionaires have second homes in London and as word gets out from the secretive rarefied RSS universe, they are expected to make a beeline to London in order to grab a meeting with the man who remote controls the Indian government.

The organisers of the event have also been flooded with requests from senior members of the UK establishment to have meetings with Bhagwat and Hosabale. They are also hoping to dodge any accidental meetings with India's two notorious felons Lalit Modi and Vijay Mallya. The last thing they want is Bhagwat bumping into them at an event and fuel a controversy.

It will be all reminiscent of Modi and his globetrotting image. And if Modi can, Mohan Bhagwat is not far behind.

I have learnt exclusively that the RSS is now aggressively pursuing an international agenda and wants "sangh shakhas to spread from Verona in Italy to Tokyo in Japan". It obviously helps to have your minions ruling government of India.

While it's a short eight-hour flight to UK, it's set to be the culmination of a long journey for the sangh.
