The Indian rationalist

Let us be warned against the peculiar Indian rationalist kind of fellow. He may tell you that multicoloured gemstones on your fingers will not sparkle your fate, but he has probably had a very bad jeweller-cum-astrologer selling him the rising fakes that are now exported by so called professional units. I know a guy he should see, cent per cent fifth-generation family jeweller and troubles-caused-by-Shani solver, even male offspring no problem, his gems are so powerful you can dip in milk and drink every night and count nine months. He does not believe that gods cast in stone serve you any better than those with feet of clay, but he serves gods made of paper that are refutable. Any scientist fool can ask one well-aimed question and his hypothesis will crumble. Stone is not only unquestionable, it outlasts paper and that itself is its argument. He believes that it is not only possible to outrun the castes we are born into, but that once they set up their version of religion and literature, he will tell you it is its own culture. Now, such a scholar he calls himself, he does not know Hinduism is universal truth? It is way of life. So Lingayats also Hindu, Muslims also Hindu, tribals also Hindu, Dalits also Hindu, whole world Hindu. Just I am more equal Hindu than you, because I am aware, but this is not oppression this is your self-denial. Wait, I will bring you into the light, that is my job, and your karma. The Indian rationalist, deprived of this universality, claims to be man of science, but does not know all matter is same energy so when godmen's hands convert matter, it is simple physics, but he calls it con job. Who is doing the con, I ask you. Now if a poor farmer wants to voluntarily deposit his life savings into a limbu a day at the edge of his rival's field, to give his first-born girl child to the guru, so his crop will grow, and the rainclouds will come, and his wife will have male offspring, who is this ignoramus to bring bills against it? This is why the rains are failing and semi precious gemstone sales are up. Is an argument worship worthy? Can you dip it in milk and drink it? What will people worship if the fifth generation priests and tantrics and jewellers and sellers of everyday solutions go out of business? The holy trinity of rationalism or what?
