After Instagram tests the new 'Candid Challenges' (dual-camera) feature, inspired by BeReal, Snapchat has also introduced the dual-camera on its main toolbar.
BeReal is a French social media app that prompts users to take a picture of themselves in 2 minutes and share it with their friends.
Instagram has been testing the feature that is an exact copy of BeReal, whereas Snapchat's dual-camera feature allows the user to take as many pictures in a day at any time without the 2 minute time boundation.
Snapchat's dual-camera feature can be located on the right side where the main toolbar is.
BeReal sends the user a notification to take the picture only once in a day. Instagram follows the same concept but Snapchat allows you the freedom to use the feature more than once in a day.
There are four ways in which you can use the dual-camera on Snapchat.
