The origin of National Solidarity Day
- National Solidarity Day in India finds its roots in a historic conflict between India and China.
- The war commenced on October 20, 1962, and concluded on November 21, 1962.
- During this war, China launched a surprise attack on India from the northeastern side, aiming to seize control of disputed areas in Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh.
