In a scenario reminiscent of a "Made in Heaven" episode, Pradhyuman Maloo, recognized for his role in the Netflix series "Indian Matchmaking," is currently facing accusations of domestic violence from his spouse, Ashima Chauhaan.
Pradhyuman Maloo, a 33-year-old entrepreneur and accomplished jeweller, gained prominence as a participant in the inaugural season of "Indian Matchmaking," a show led by the renowned matchmaker Sima Taparia.
During the first season of "Indian Matchmaking," Pradhyuman Maloo captured attention by asserting that he had turned down 150 potential matches presented by matchmaker Sima Taparia and other sources.
Subsequently, he crossed paths with Ashima Chauhaan, a model and actress, off-camera following the conclusion of the first season. In the same year, they celebrated their grand wedding in the lavish city of Udaipur. The couple also made a brief appearance in Season 2 of "Indian Matchmaking."
Based on the latest developments, Ashima, Pradhyuman Maloo's wife, has filed a First Information Report (FIR) against him, accusing him of domestic violence.
According to the lodged FIR, Ashima was compelled to leave the Maloo residence in September 2022 due to facing both physical and emotional abuse from her husband and relatives.
She also disclosed that her family allegedly faced blackmail and various forms of mistreatment from the Maloo family.
Lawyers representing Pradhyuman Maloo have categorically denied these allegations.
On the other hand, Anmol Bartaria, Ashima's legal representative, conveyed that the initial police report's accusations against Pradhyuman revolve around serious matters, including domestic violence and ongoing physical mistreatment.
