Apart from the chaos surrounding Leo's canceled audio launch, it also highlights the lessons learned by concert and event organisers from the tragic incidents involving AR Rahman and KK.
Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming October release, Leo, is making waves on social media due to the last-minute cancellation of its audio launch, originally slated for September 30, 2023.
Some fans speculate that external pressures forced the Leo team to call off the event. However, the movie's production company, Seven Screen Studio, vehemently denies any such influence, emphasizing that the decision was primarily motivated by fan safety.
Considering overflowing passes requests & safety constraints, we have decided not to conduct the Leo Audio Launch.

In respect of the fans' wishes, we will keep you engaged with frequent updates.
P.S. As many would imagine, this is not due to political pressure or any other…
Conversely, some are commending Seven Screen Studio for this choice and avoiding a fate reminiscent of the recent AR Rahman concert in Chennai.
The audio launch faced a sudden cancellation citing 'security concerns' and an overwhelming demand for 'entry passes.' Seven Screen Studio communicated with fans through social media, clarifying that the decision was indeed rooted in fan safety.
Rumors also circulated about counterfeit passes circulating among fans, which would have heightened security risks due to overcrowding.
AR Rahman's recent Chennai concert, 'Marakkuma Nenjam,' serves as a poignant example of concert mismanagement.
The event, held at Chennai's Adityaram Palace City on September 10, saw an attendance of 45,000, far exceeding the venue's capacity of 25,000. The concert coordinators appeared ill-prepared to handle such an enormous crowd, resulting in chaos.
Never in my life I thought I will be hearing people chanting “STOP THE SHOW !!!” in an AR Rahman concert. 💔 https://t.co/3gEn2X2wiK pic.twitter.com/wHj2TWTOKW

. Tragically, numerous reports emerged of groping and molestation incidents during the event, particularly affecting women attendees.
The realisation of molestation has Stricken and I feel extremely disgusted, to know that a lot of women went through that too is haunting me. Never have I felt so unsafe in Chennai! Thanks for ruining that for me ! #marakkumanenja #ARRahmanConcert @actcevents @arrahman

Fans believe that Leo's audio launch could have faced a similar fate had the organizers not made the decision to cancel.
Renowned Indian playback vocalist KK took the stage at the Nazrul Mancha auditorium in South Kolkata on May 31, 2023, unaware that it would be his final performance.
Following the show, he returned to his hotel and tragically collapsed. Rushed to CMRI Hospital, he was declared dead upon arrival, with the cause of death attributed to a heart attack.
Many attendees at KK's concert reported overcrowding and unbearable temperatures. A video showing KK visibly sweating and expressing discomfort due to the heat surfaced after his passing.
Although Nazrul Mancha can accommodate up to 2,500 individuals, approximately 5,000 people attended the event.

Leo has undeniably learned from the mistakes of these mismanaged events and was determined not to repeat them.
