When you are locked out from Twitter and Instagram, what do you do? Purchase another social media platform and rant there. Sounds crazy, right? Not for Kanye West.
Rapper Kanye West, 45, now legally known as Ye, has agreed to buy Parler, a right-wing friendly social media company, in order to build an "uncancelable ecosystem". This comes just days after his posts were removed and he was locked out from platforms like Instagram and Twitter for his anti-Semitic posts.
Parler also responded by welcoming Kanye. In a press release issued by the company, they said, "create an uncancellable environment where all voices are welcome".
However, more details about the deal are yet to come.
What happened with Ye? Kanye West was locked out of his Twitter and Instagram accounts after he shared anti-Semitic posts which went viral. Earlier, in March 2022, he was locked for 24 hours from Instagram for hate speech.
He turned to Twitter after two years, (his last post was in 2020). However, Twitter also locked his account over his now-deleted post.
The now-removed tweet reads, 'I'm a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I'm going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE, The funny thing is I actually can't be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.'

His Instagram was post was also deleted earlier this month for violating the company's policies and a restriction was placed on his account.
The owner of Instagram, Meta did not specify what was objectionable about the content or what kind of restriction was imposed but screenshots confirm the post was another rant against Jewish people.
Prior to that, the rapper showed up at his Yeezy brand’s fashion show dressed in a “White Lives Matter” shirt along with a controversial right-wing commentator Candace Owens. This also sparked controversy.
