Ashneer Grover, the BharatPe co-founder, known for his work, his savage replies on reality show Shark Tank India, and on Twitter, and his legal troubles, has made a weird request to the media.
Grover is currently dealing with a legal case after his own BharatPe slapped a civil lawsuit against him of Rs 88 crore for mismanagement of the company’s funds. However, it looks like that it is the least of his concerns. In a recent tweet, he asked media NOT to use photos where he looked fat, as he finds them ‘offensive’.
Grover in his tweet said that he has lost ‘15 kgs’ and 'since visual appeal is important' he is expecting that media uses the picture he tweeted where he is standing next to his wife.
Press : You may write anything you get paid to write about me. I won’t complain. I have one request - please use this picture - nothing is more offensive to me than seeing my older fatter self after losing 15 Kgs ! I don’t even read the stories like most - visual appeal is imp !! pic.twitter.com/Z8HiDzlFuF

The Shark Tank India judge often uses Twitter to give free advice to strangers, takes a dig at someone famous or BharatPe executives, or promote his book Doglapan.
Check out some of his Tweets:
I remember a data scientist who had recently joined Grofers telling me excitedly after a week running through data at the job that ‘sabse zyaada doodh ke saath anda aur bread ka basket Banta hai’.

So. Let me tell you - last 24 hours all of these VCs would have advised their portfolio companies to pull money out + pulled out money themselves leading to the run in the first place. SVB bank run is a result of VCs losing their shit together - in unison - inability to differ !

BharatPe, the company he co-founded, has filed a case against him. Last year, in the month of December, BharatPe filed a lawsuit against Grover and his family members including his wife Madhuri Jain Grover, who used to be the the head of controls at the company.
Three months of the case started, the Delhi High Court on Monday, March 13, advised both the parties to do a settlement outside of the court. In return, the fintech company’s lawyer replied to him that it might happen later, but not just yet.
The Delhi High Court also directed the lawyer for Ashneer Grover to request that the businessman maintains decorum and refrains from criticising the company's executives (from his book and his tweets).
