In a recent update, the CEO of X, formerly known as Twitter, Elon Musk, has hinted at the possibility of undergoing surgery prior to his much-awaited cage match against Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook. This news has sparked concern across the internet.

The 52-year-old billionaire disclosed on his platform, X (previously referred to as Twitter), that he has been grappling with severe back pain since an encounter with a sumo wrestler.

An MRI for his upper back and neck is scheduled for Monday, and the prospect of surgery looms. Elon Musk, the world's wealthiest individual, indicated that a decision regarding surgery is expected to be reached this week.

Musk recently announced that the highly anticipated cage fight between these two tech titans will be live-streamed on his platform, X, and all the proceeds from the event will be donated to charity for veterans.

Musk's post was prompted by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg's response to the announcement of the battle being streamed on X. Zuckerberg mentioned he's "not holding his breath" and proposed August 26 as the preferred date for the showdown.

Zuckerberg shared Musk's X post, wherein Musk mentioned rigorous training and added, "I'm ready today... but he hasn't confirmed..."

Nature of the injury

This untimely update comes as Musk prepares for the long-awaited and heavily hyped cage match against Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta. In an earlier statement, Musk alluded to the potential need for surgery to reinforce the titanium plate responsible for stabilizing his C5/C6 vertebrae.

Elon Musk, the CEO of 'X' (formerly Twitter), and Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, two prominent figures in the tech and social media sectors, have playfully piqued the interest of the online community with hints of an impending hand-to-hand combat match. The buzz began when Musk, the head of Tesla and X, ignited speculation about a cage fight through a tweet, which Zuckerberg accepted by responding, "Send me the location."

Their posts have significantly heightened anticipation among spectators worldwide, as the globe eagerly awaits a remarkable clash between these two leading figures in the tech industry.

Yilong Ma already a winner 

Recently, a comedian with the handle name Yilong Ma, renowned on TikTok for mimicking Elon Musk with a the X boss's deepfake mask, uploaded an engaging four-part video series in which  he portrayed an intriguing scenario where he beats up  "Mark Zuckerberg," a Chinese individual sporting a box on his head. This playful depiction pays homage to the speculated future showdown between Musk and Zuckerberg.

This video has certainly hyped up netizens for the Musk vs Zuck fight even further and has added its case to the long going "who's going to win?" debate.
