In a new tweet from Wednesday (May 10), Musk revealed that people can "DM reply to any message in the thread (not just most recent) and use any emoji reaction" on the latest version of the app.

He added that "release of encrypted DMs V1.0 should happen tomorrow". This basically implies that Musk or not anyone from the Twitter will be able to see through your DMs, a primary concern in a post-Mark Zuckerberg reality with cyber privacy being seen increasingly under threat.
