With great power comes great responsibility. The quote is probably true if we are watching a Spiderman movie, but in real life, it is more like 'with more money comes the greater power to act crazy'.
Some billionaires like to do weird stuff and pretend their opinion matters on everything including global politics and whatnot. This could be for two reasons: one, they are genuinely interested in the needs of the working class or they like to be in the news. (we are clearly writing about this).
The world's richest man on earth, Elon Musk, who runs top companies like SpaceX, Tesla, The Boring Company, Neuralink, and OpenAI is often in the news, though mostly due to his tweets.
DailyO takes a look at Musk's craziest behaviour and his most controversial tweets:
1. Brining literally a sink to Twitter headquaters:
After deciding to buy, then not buy and now again very close to buying Twitter, Musk is now finally meeting staff and workers of the social media company. While going to the Twitter office in San Fransisco in US, he brought a sink to complement his Twitter post: 'Let that sink in'.
2. Smoking marijuana on Joe Rogan podcast:
Musk Smoked marijuana on a live web podcast show with comedian Joe Rogan. Rogan offered his guest the drug, in California (it is legal there), and broke the internet.
3. Saying video games are actually reality:
We do like the concept of Metaverse and Video games being so close to reality, however, during an interview with Vox, Musk said that human beings potentially exist in a video game. He added how video games would become indistinguishable from reality at some point in the future.
4. Saying he will buy Manchester United:
Apart from Twitter, Musk also once joked about buying Manchester United. Thank god, later, when asked about how serious he was, and he clarified he was joking.
5. Didn't take Covid-19 seriously...
We had the first case of Covid-19 in 2019, which baffled the whole world, but guess what Musk said in 2020? 'The Covid panic is dumb'.
6. Supporting Ye aka Kanye West for President's election:
Kanye, who is now currently locked out of Twitter for his anti-semantic tweets, once wanted to run for President of US, and his friend Musk said that he will give him his full support.
You have my full support!

7. Caused financial loss to its own company due to his tweet:
While talking about his own company Tesla, he claimed the stock prices are too high, as a funny joke, which costs the company millions of dollars as the price of the stocks degraded Tesla's value. Several stakeholders were mad at him for this joke.
What is wrong with you! This tweet alone just lost me over £300. I literally have half my savings in Tesla stocks (only 4 stocks) but that is going to be my funds when I go to uni this year.

Just because you can don't care if you loose money, stop screwing over your shareholders!
And if you think that's it, you are quite wrong, check out some more...

I’m trying to set a good example! Population collapse is a much bigger problem than people realize and that’s just for Earth.

Mars has a great need for people, seeing as population is currently zero.
Humans are the custodians of other life on Earth. Let us bring life to Mars!
