A man brought traffic to a halt in Bengaluru as he rained currency notes from a flyover on Tuesday (January 24). The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
What happened: A man brought vehicles on a flyover and below it to a standstill after he threw the cash from the city's KR Market flyover.
Videos shot by motorists showed the man wearing a coat walking with a wall clock on his neck on the flyover and throwing cash.

Some of the motorists are seen running to him and requesting for money. People stopped their vehicles on the flyover and below it to collect the notes.
Rs 10 notes: The currency notes were of Rs 10 denomination and the man reportedly threw around notes worth Rs 3,000. The man who arrived on a scooter with a bag full of notes, threw them from both sides of the flyover and then left the scene.
Why was he throwing away money? The reason as to why the man chose to rain notes is yet to be known. According to some local reports, the man was fed up with his life, which prompted him to throw away the money he had.
