Actress Vaishali Takkar suicide case: What we know so far

Famous TV actress, Vaishali Takkar, who got her fame from television serials like Sasural Simar ka and Yeh Rishta Kya Kheltah hai, was found hanging in her Indore house on Sunday morning (October 16, 2022).
A case has been registered at the nearest Tejaji Nagar police station, and a suicide note has been recovered.
The suicide note: The Times of India reported that Vaishali wrote a five-page suicide note in her small diary recovered from her room. The 30-year-old actress wrote that her former boyfriend Rahul was troubling her.
Indore's ACP M Rahman said that her boyfriend and neighbor Rahul was constantly pressuring her to marry him.
- Rahul has been missing since her death, and police are trying to find him. Despite the fact that not many details about Rahul have been released, he is reportedly one of the prime suspects in the case, the police said,
What else? Her body was sent for post-mortem examination at MY Hospital, Indore. Police are also checking her e-gadgets to look for any clues.

The actress was last seen in the TV show Rakshabandhan where she played the role of Kanak Singhal Singh Thakur. The actress made her TV debut with the Starplus serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
Reactions: Everybody was surprised by this news, and various stars sent their condolence to Vaishali's family and fans were in indefinite shock with some of them again linking her death with Sushanth Singh Rajput.

Rising suicide cases in India: According to recent NCRB data, every year, more than 1,00,000 people commit suicide in India.
A total of 1,64,033 suicides were reported in the country during 2021 showing an increase in comparison to 2020.
WHO says that the Covid pandemic has also been a leading factor for the recent increase in suicide cases across the globe.
