So it's Day 2 of the Valentine's Week and now that all the rosewalas have made money and you've seen the Rose Day memes, the single ones have gone underground and the parents have caught their 'innocent' kids red-handed, it's time to take romance to the next level.
Let's accept it: proposals are freakin' exciting! (like, when they are accepted)

Bollywood has completely influenced the way we look at romance, proposals and marriages. The candlelight dinners, the singing and dancing in front of Eiffel Tower or the Alps, and what not! If you are proposed to today, that's awesome! BUT BUT BUT.
But if you don't have anyone to propose to or aren't getting one today, here are some memes to celebrate your singlehood status with.
STORY TIME
(This story is completely fictional and any resemblance to anyone living or dead is purely coincidental. Side note: If this is your story, do let us know.)
So, a certain young man was super excited for Valentine's Week; especially because it would be his first time sharing his feelings with that someone special.
To prepare for the big event, he took classes with people of his age to make it the best Propose Day ever.
CLASS: 'HOW TO PROPOSE TO A GIRL?'

He learnt it all because he thought that the girl he loved was safe to love and she would reciprocate. But as it turned out on the day, he was turned down badly. Like, really badly.

The young man walked out sad and dejected and his friends told him, a la Ramadhir Singh, "Beta tumse na ho paayega."

But the young man was determined to win her over. He tried different ways to get her attention and get her to like him.

Then, one fine day, he realised that he needed classes from a legend. So he got himself enrolled in Shah Rukh Khan's romance masterclass (cos who better to teach Indians romance than the King of Romance... arms-wide-open et al).
