Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and former cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar have not seen eye to eye for quite some time. Jadeja recently posted a cryptic tweet on his account with a snapshot of Sanjay Manjrekar from the ongoing Legends League.
The tweet: "Watching my dear friend on screen @sanjaymanjrekar."

The photo had Twitter users wondering whether it was a normal tweet or a dig at Manjrekar.
What is the issue between Jadeja and Manjrekar? The problem started in 2019 before the India vs New Zealand match, when Manjrekar called Jadeja a 'bits and pieces player'. The term means someone who is slightly good at batting and in bowling, but cannot make it to the side because none is his strength.
To this, Jadeja had a strong reply, "Still, I have played twice the number of matches you have played and I'm still playing. Learn to respect people who have achieved. I have heard enough of your verbal diarrhoea Sanjay Manjrekar."

In the semi-final against New Zealand, Jadeja played a great knock of 77 runs that almost took India to the finals.
"Bits and by pieces, he just rippled me apart today. By bits and by pieces, he just proved me wrong on all fronts. But this is Ravindra Jadeja we have not seen very often. Today, he was brilliant, economical with the ball, and the familiar celebration," Manjrekar had said in a tweet put up by ICC, where he is talking to Niall O'Brien and Ian Smith.

The funny banter: The banter between the two began again in January 2020, when India defeated New Zealand in the second T20I.
After the match, Manjrekar put up a tweet saying, "Player of the match should have been a bowler."
To this Jadeja replied with, "What is the name of the bowler. Pls Pls mention."

To this Manjrekar replied with, "Ha Ha Either you or Bumrah. Bumrah, because he was extremely economical while bowling overs no 3, 10, 18 and 20."
The conversation ended on a funny note, with Twitter users appreciating the two.
Okay to talk: Recently, the two shared the screen after India vs Pakistan match in Asia Cup.
In a post match discussion, Manjrekar, before talking to Jadeja, asked him, "First questions: You are ok to talk to me? Right Jaddu?"
To this Jadeja replied with, "Yeah, yeah (laughs). Absolutely."
The two went on to have a chat.
